The city of Covilhã will be the stage for the 4th Advanced Computing Meeting, which will take place on November 5th and 6th, 2024, at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). Organized by FCCN, the digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), this event aims to unite researchers, technicians, decision-makers, and all those interested in advanced computing, promoting skill development and knowledge exchange.
With a focus on current topics, the meeting will discuss infrastructures and resources available to Portuguese researchers, artificial intelligence, and the challenges of the digital transition in academic and business environments. Additionally, participants will learn about the latest updates on the High-Performance Computing (HPC) ecosystem at both national and European levels.
This is a key gathering for anyone looking to stay updated on technological innovations, expand their network, and collaborate with experts in the field. The previous edition featured 16 sessions, 29 speakers, and over 60 participants, and this year’s event promises to surpass those numbers.
Don’t miss the opportunity to take part! Registrations are now open, and the Advanced Computing community awaits you on November 5th and 6th in Covilhã.
