EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (JU) is offering access to powerful supercomputing resources for organisations working with artificial intelligence (AI) and data-heavy applications. This call is open to a wide range of groups, including industry organisations, small to medium enterprises (SMEs), startups, and public sector entities, to help them conduct AI-driven projects and data-intensive research.

This initiative is aimed at supporting projects in ethical AI, machine learning, and other data-intensive areas, with a special focus on cutting-edge technologies like foundation models and generative AI (such as large language models). It provides access to some of the most advanced supercomputing systems in Europe.

The supercomputer systems and their operations provided for the AI and Data-Intensive Applications Access call by EuroHPC JU Hosting Entities are: 

Key details:

• Applications: Open all year round, with pre-defined cut-off dates that will trigger the evaluation of the proposals submitted up to this date. Next Cut-Off Dates: 11 October 2024 and 22 November 2024.
• Access start date: Supercomputing resources will be available within one month after each deadline.
• Duration: Access is granted for up to one year.
• Evaluation criteria: Proposals will be reviewed based on their excellence, innovation, impact, and the quality of their implementation. Decisions are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
