April brings an Artificial Intelligence for Science Bootcamp

Multiple European institutions and entities have come together to organize this free, online training, which will take place on April 17th and 18th. The program is already set!

The EuroCC project – through the Competence Centers in Germany and Austria – is preparing a free online bootcamp on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to Science.

During the two days (April 17 and 18) in which the initiative will take place, participants will acquire knowledge in various areas of computing. Besides learning how to use AI tools, techniques and algorithms, they will also build and improve Deep Learning models, learn about the main concepts of Deep Neural Networks and get to know the most relevant techniques for data pre-processing.

From this small sample of what to expect, it is clear that the practical component will be quite present. Participants will have detailed instructions for each step, as well as assistants available to provide constant help.

Those interested in participating need only have minimal experience with Python.

Registration is open until March 28th at 11:55 pm and can be done through this link – which also contains the detailed program.

This initiative is being developed with the support of NVIDIA, the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart, the Vienna Scientific Cluster, the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre, the Jülich Supercomputing Centre and OpenACC.
