EPICURE Hackathon: Python Meets HPC this December in Stockholm

Join the EPICURE Hackathon from December 10–12 in Stockholm and optimise your Python code for real-world HPC applications.

From December 10 to 12, 2025, the EPICURE project invites developers, researchers, and HPC practitioners to join the upcoming Hackathon “Python Meets HPC”, taking place at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

This hands-on event will focus on tackling real-world computational problems using Python in HPC environments, offering a collaborative space to optimise codes, exchange ideas, and accelerate innovation.

During the hackathon, participants will:

  • Collaborate with peers and mentors on real-world Python + HPC challenges
  • Optimise their own code or contribute to open-source HPC projects
  • Learn best practices for parallelisation, scalability, and performance profiling
  • Get expert feedback on codebases and computational approaches
  • Connect with the broader EPICURE and European HPC community

If you have a Python codebase or computational problem to optimise, you can propose it as a project through the upcoming participation form.

Registration will be available soon, here.
