The EuroCC Portugal team has been working hard to prepare a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on Supercomputing. It’s the first to be produced in Portuguese!

The online course is currently being finalized and will be launched in September. It will be available on the “NAU – sempre a aprender” platform and will be free for all those who decide to embark on this challenge!

The goal of this MOOC is to introduce the world of supercomputers to everybody, so that each interested person knows how they are developed, how they work, the advantages of using them and where they can be found in Portugal and Europe. In addition to the training component, it will serve as an awareness-raising weapon to show that supercomputing exists and is within anyone’s reach.

While the course is not officially available to the community, here is a short presentation video so that you know what to expect from this MOOC on Supercomputing.
