EuroHPC JU launches new calls to improve training in HPC

There are two new calls to train future HPC specialists, develop a training platform and support the International HPC Summer School.

The DIGITAL-EUROHPC-JU-2022-TRAINING-02 call was created with the goal of develop a EuroHPC JU training platform, in order to guarantee a wide range of courses (preferably open to the community and free of charge) and events, organized by the various members that integrate the EuroCC project (Centres of Competence, Centres of Excellence or Supercomputing, universities and even companies).

Besides this mission of developing training, this call is also looking for partners to support the International HPC Summer School that, every year, brings together 80 to 100 users (usually students and researchers) in different parts of the world.

The submission of proposals is open since January 26th and extends until April 4th, 5pm (CET).

During the same period, another call is running – DIGITAL-EUROHPC-JU-2022-TRAINING-03, designed with the purpose of training future HPC specialists and provide them the necessary digital skills to bridge the gap between education and the labour market, ensuring users have more frequent opportunities to work in HPC environments, with access to state-of-the-art technology and the fundamental knowledge to develop them themselves.
