Joining the National Center for Advanced Computing (CNCA) – Expression of Interest

CNCA invites interested entities to express their interest in the initial membership phase by February 2025, contributing to the advancement of Advanced Computing in Portugal.

Advanced Computing is a key pillar for scientific, economic, and technological progress, driving innovation and development across multiple sectors. With this goal in mind, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) established the National Center for Advanced Computing (CNCA), a structure funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, aimed at strengthening Portugal’s computational capacity.

In this context, an invitation is open for entities wishing to join the CNCA from its initial phase. Expressions of interest should be submitted by the end of February 2025 via email to: cnca-questoes@incd.pt.

When submitting an expression of interest, it is recommended to include the following details:
– Identification of the entity;
– Desired annual membership fee tier, in accordance with the CNCA statutes.

This deadline does not limit future memberships but aims to structure the initial group of member entities, ensuring a well-organized and comprehensive launch.
