Porto hosts workshop about Artificial Intelligence and Supercomputing for Science

From May 31 to June 2, HPC Admintech brings together HPC system administrators, researchers and developers to discuss visualization solutions, Big Data, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence, among many other topics.

Directly from Palma de Mallorca to Porto. It is the Portuguese city that this year hosts HPC Admintech, the event that brings together the HPC community, organized by the Spanish company Sistemas Informáticos Europeus, which already has more than 20 years of experience in this market.

From May 31st to June 2nd, the TRYP Porto Expo Hotel, in Matosinhos, will welcome HPC system administrators, researchers, programmers and all IT personnel for three days dedicated to supercomputing and artificial intelligence applied to science.

The program is still being finalized, but several sessions have already been confirmed. “Ethics, Morals and Artificial Intelligence”, “Introduction to Parallel Computing”, “Performance Maximization: Best Practices and Solutions for HPC Platforms” are just some of those that so far make up the range.

During the three days, several leisure activities are also being prepared: boat trips, visits to wineries, to the emblematic Lello Bookstore and to the Stock Exchange Palace – with a stop for dinner there.

Registration is already open and can be done through this link. The program can also be found there.
