Like last year, the UT Austin Portugal program is now accepting submissions of Expressions of Interest for short-term research internships at the University of Texas at Austin.
The call is intended for faculty, researchers, and master’s or doctoral students involved in the areas of Advanced Computing, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Space-Earth Interactions, or Medical Physics. Admitted candidates must be affiliated to an educational institution, center or company established in Portugal that is engaged in research and development (R&D).
In the case of Medical Physics, the internship may also be held at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), if the necessary conditions are met.
Depending on the category in which they are admitted, accepted candidates will receive funding for travel, health and personal accident insurance, and a monthly grant. Applications are open until June 5.
An information session is planned for May 18. It will take place via zoom, starting at 10 am (UCT+1).
The form and detailed information are available on the UT Austin Portugal program website.
