FCT announces it’s 2022 Call for Exploratory Projects under the UT Austin Portugal Program

Until November 17th, research teams from non-corporate entities dedicated to Advanced Computing, Medical Physics for Emerging Cancer Therapies, Nanomaterials for New Markets, and Space-Earth Interactions can apply for funding up to 50,000 euros.

The Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has announced its 2022 Call for Exploratory Research Projects (ERPs) under the UT Austin Portugal Program. Submissions are open until November 17, 5 p.m. (Lisbon Time).

The Call is meant for research teams at non-corporate R&D performing entities in Portugal and The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) interested in collaboratively undertaking high-impact potential research activities across the scientific areas of the Program:

● Advanced Computing;
● Medical Physics for Emerging Cancer Therapies;
● Nano Materials for New Markets;
● Space-Earth Interactions.

Selected Projects must have a duration of up to one year, with maximum funding of 50 000 euros for Portuguese research teams and 50 000 dollars for their counterparts at UT Austin.
