Enhanced MareNostrum 5 to propel Spain to AI leadership.

Five members from the University of Zagreb Computing Centre, Croatia (SRCE) visited FCCN in an exchange program that strengthens collaboration in supercomputing and authentication systems. The visit included presentations, experience sharing, and discussions on authentication and European identifiers, with the presence of representatives from the University of Lisbon.

Deucalion, installed in Guimarães, makes its debut on the TOP500 list, standing out for its energy efficiency and processing speed, while three European supercomputers rank among the world’s top 10.

On June 20, from 11:00AM to 12:30PM, the online course “Introduction to the VISION Artificial Intelligence Cluster” will be held. This training marks the launch of AIvLAB, a virtual laboratory that encourages experimentation in AI and Machine Learning.
